Yogi asks Siddaramaiah, Why you encourage Beef eating
As a part of the ongoing Parivartan yaatra on Sunday 7th January , Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath managed to become it’s star attraction . Compared to the earlier fiasco of poor turnout when the Parivartana yatra was flagged off by the BJP President Amit Shah , this rally saw big crowds . After Prime Minister Narendra Modi , Yogi has emerged as the second biggest star attraction for the BJP and is hugely popular with workers. While most expected his address to be around the killings of Deepak Rao , the BJP worker who was killed few days back , he focused on development issues which appeal to the urban crowds. The crowds who turned up at the Parivartan Yatra were surprised to see a toned down Yogi Adityanath whose speech focused on ‘ Vikas’. Yogi Adityanath in his address lay stress on development, and tech startups which will pave way for overall growth of the state. He alleged that the Karnataka Congress government has failed to implement the development schemes introduced by the Centre. Yogi urged the people to vote for the BJP in the forthcoming elections to ensure that the people of the state benefit by having the same party governments in Centre and State.
While he kept his attacks on the congress government led by Siddaramaiah in the state and accused the congress of dividing people in the name of caste and religion. He charged the Congress of adopting double standards over the Instant Triple Talaq issue . He called upon the people in the state to ensure that Congress is defeated in Karnataka which is the last bastion of Congress in the country.Questioning Siddaramaiah on his Hindu antecedents, Yogi asked “Why is Siddaramaiah encouraging Beef eating if he is a Hindu as he claims?”
This is second time that Yogi Adithyanath participated in the Parivartana yatra by BJP . He had earlier addressed a rally in state on Dec 21 at Hubballi. He visited the Adichunchungiri mutt at Bengaluru. Taking a dig at Chief Minister Siddaramaiah , Yogi said Siddaramaiah is now beginning to understand the importance of Hindutva. Without being provocative , He condemned the killing of 22 BJP workers in the state .
The BJP state unit which embarked on a 90-day statewide rally on 2 November 2017 from Bengaluru in the run-up to the Assembly poll, will conclude on January 28 with the participation of prime minister Narendra Modi in Bengaluru.
