Gujarat Poll Results: Fruits of good governance: CM Bommai

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai attributed the BJP victory in Gujarat Assembly polls to good governance.
Talking to reporters here on Thursday, he said the BJP is leading and the party is all set to achieve an unprecedented victory in Gujarat. It will win the maximum number of seats when compared to all the previous polls. It was known in post-poll analysis. People will always support good governance and till recently there was an anti-incumbency trend all over the country but the Gujarat poll results have proved a pro-incumbency trend in favor of BJP. It is not easy to win for the seventh consecutive time. The governments have to do work so that the people will stand by them. This work has been done by the Gujarat Government.

The CM said above all these things, it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi who had put up a strong base and guided the government continuously. His strong and positive leadership helped BJP to retain power in that state. Despite the passing of one generation, both old and young generations have accepted his honest and able administration and have reposed faith on him to lead the country from forward. Last time they had won in three states. The fight is equal in Himachal Pradesh and ultimately BJP will win and form the new government.
Can’t be compared

The CM said being in administration in a local body for 15 years is a big achievement as there will be plenty of problems in it. The voter number is small and there will be a multi-corner fight. It cannot be compared with the general polls.

He said the victory of BJP in Gujarat will have a positive impact on Karnataka and a morale booster for workers and supporters. Working with much more enthusiasm will help the party to come back to power in the state.
