Basavaraja Bommai inaugurates “Didactic Summit”
The govt. would implement “Bengaluru Declaration”- Chief Minister
Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai opined that the Didactic Summit on quality education and skill development should bring out its report in the name of “Bengaluru declaration”.
He was speaking while inaugurating the 3 day “Didactive” conclave organised by the department of higher education here on Wednesday.
Saying that the summit should become a platform to provide solutions for the upcoming generations, he stated the government was ready to implement the recommendations.
“Teaching- learning process has been completely changed and educational system should be supplement to natural learning. The innovative technology should be leveraged to achieve desired quality in education,” he remarked.
Dr Ashwath Narayan, Minister for Higher Education, said, the United Nations objective of sustainable and equitable progress
can be achieved only through quality education.
Brazil’s Education Minister Edwardo Games Solvedo, Saudi Arabia’s Director General for Education Dr Abdul Rahman Alasmi, Dominic Savage, Director, World Education Forum, Program Director Gavin Dikes were present. Representatives of 15 countries attended.
