Seeking to rope in Narayanamurthy to a panel to build Bengaluru infrastructure, Kumaraswamy sought Murthy’s guidance on forming an expert committee to look into the problems related to Infrastructure and Waste Management in the city.
To take up the pending Infrastructure projects on war-footing , H D Kumarswamy plans to set up a committee headed by the Chief Minister which will meet every two months to review the progress.
Expressing happiness on the concern for Bengaluru infrastructure , Narayanamurthy said he is glad to be part of the project and he will give his suggestions shortly to the CM on the planning and development of Infrastructure and effective waste management system for the City.
“I have been keenly following you and I appreciate your concern for the welfare of the society and farmers in particular” said Murthy referring to Kumaraswamy’s visit to Israel to learn more about the successful farming techniques used by that country.
“You took that initiative when you were not in power” Murthy further suggested the CM to take the large number of NGOs operating in the city on development issues into confidence while planning and implementing the urban development projects.
It maybe noted that apart from the delayed execution of BMRCL phase 1 and Phase 2 projects , there are several key projects which need immediate attention of the Government.
