NCP MLA Jayant Patil suspended as a member of Legislative assembly till the conclusion of winter session in Nagpur. He is also prohibited from entering the premises of both Nagpur and Mumbai assembly.

Senior NCP MLA Jayant Patil suspended over unparliamentary language by Speaker of the house Rahul Narwekar. Patil had allegedly made derogatory remark against Speaker Narwekar. Patil has been suspended till the conclusion of the Winter session of State Legislature underway in Nagpur.

State parliamentary affairs minister Chandrakant Patil moved the motion to suspend Jayant Patil. The motion was adopted by voice vote. Patil has been prohibited from entering Mumbai and Nagpur state Legislature.
